Armando Queiroz born in 1968, lives in Belém (PA). His production covers since tiny objects until big scale artworks, urban interventions and video performances. He holds conceptual attention to social, political, patrimonial issues and to subjects related to arts and life. He creates after observing the daily routine of the streets; has as a reference the city and the other. He was contemplated with a research in Arts scholarship (CNI-SESI Marcantonio Vilaça for Visual Arts, 2009-2010). In 2010 he was contemplated as the honored artist with the Special Room at the 29th Art Pará. In 2011 he took part at the 16th Biennial of Cerveira, Biennial of Cerveira Foundation (Portugal); III Biennial of the end of the World, Ushaia (Argentina). In 2012 he realized the exhibits “Abalo Sísmico” (“Earthquake”), at the National Museum of the Republic (DF); Amazon: Place of Experience, at the Museum of the Federal University of Pará (PA). In 2013 he realized “Routes: deviations and other cycles”, at Dragão do Mar Center of Art and Culture, Fortaleza (CE).
